Privacy Policy — Pet’s Dream Pet Care and Grooming Salon

Effective date: 2026-10-15

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Pet’s Dream Pet Care and Grooming Salon (“Pet’s Dream,” “we,” “us”) provides pet care and grooming services at 442 Water St, Unit C01, Wakefield, MA 01880. The salon owner is responsible for customer service and appointment approval. For privacy questions, requests about your information, or messaging help, contact petsdreampetshop@gmail.com or write to us at that address.

This notice describes how we handle information for our website inquiries, appointment requests, customer service, optional text messages, and calls through +1 (781) 954‑5244. It does not itself enroll you in text messages. Our SMS Terms explain the messaging program.

2. Information we collect

We request information relevant to your inquiry: your name and contact phone number; your pet’s name, age, breed, weight and unit; vaccination status you declare and whether records are available; the service requested; and your preferred appointment date or time. The appointment form does not ask for an email address; you may email us if you prefer. We do not require you to provide unrelated information.

We also handle messages you send, appointment requests and their status, and attachments you choose to provide when needed for service review. A vaccination statement is not proof that a document has been checked. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, identity documents, or unrelated sensitive information through text or the virtual assistant.

When you call our program number, call information may include audio, a transcript, a service summary, call time, and the outcome of any request for human assistance. We also maintain limited records of consent and withdrawal, such as the notice version, purpose, date, method, affirmative action, and a protected reference to the contact or call.

Our website does not set cookies, does not use analytics and does not load third-party fonts or trackers. The appointment form uses Cloudflare Turnstile as an anti-abuse verification; Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser signals, to perform that check. Our communication services process the limited technical information needed to deliver requests, prevent abuse and troubleshoot errors, such as delivery identifiers, timestamps and security checks.

3. Where information comes from and how we use it

Information comes from you or someone authorized to make a request for your pet, our communications and scheduling providers, and service records we are authorized to use. If we move existing records between providers, we review their source, consent and opt-out history. A previous inquiry, appointment or imported contact does not by itself establish consent to marketing.

We use relevant information to answer inquiries, assess service suitability, send appointment requests to the salon owner, communicate their status, provide customer support, respect messaging and recording choices, protect our services, and maintain necessary records. We do not treat service information as permission for unrelated promotional uses.

4. Virtual assistance and appointment approval

Our virtual assistant identifies itself as automated and helps with inquiries and requests. Appointment requests are reviewed by the salon owner. Square is our scheduling system. A submitted request may remain pending while our team reviews it; submitting a form, receiving a text, or selecting an available time does not confirm an appointment.

We communicate a confirmed appointment only after our team’s acceptance is verified in the current Square record. If we cannot verify a result, we say that it is being checked. You may request human assistance; availability and response times vary. Decisions about exceptions, cancellations, rescheduling, or whether a pet is ready remain with the salon owner.

5. Optional text messages

Texting about an inquiry or appointment is optional. Where we request consent through a form, the service-text choice is a separate option, unchecked by default. Declining it does not prevent you from requesting service through the on-screen or human contact alternative. Consent to text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not send marketing texts. We do not infer marketing consent from an appointment, from an unanswered inquiry, or from agreement to service texts. If we ever offer a separate marketing program, it will require your separate written consent, and we will update this notice before it starts.

You may reply STOP or make another clear request to stop messages, or contact us by email. The opt-out takes effect immediately. We keep limited suppression information to respect that choice. HELP does not restart messages, and a network restart command does not establish marketing consent. See our SMS Terms for timing, frequency and delivery details.

6. Call recording, transcription and an alternative

Calls to +1 (781) 954‑5244 are answered by our virtual assistant. A short notice at the start of the call tells you that the call may be recorded for quality and service purposes. If you continue after the notice, the assistant records and transcribes the conversation to understand your request and pass it to our team.

If you prefer not to be recorded, you can end the call and call the salon at +1 (857) 346‑3595, use the appointment form on our website, or email petsdreampetshop@gmail.com. These alternatives do not promise an immediate live transfer or an immediate response.

If you ask to speak with a person, or if the assistant cannot resolve your request, it may connect you to our team during the call. If nobody answers, the assistant records a callback request and a team member follows up through the contact details you provide. The recording notice given at the start of the call applies to the whole call.

7. Who can access information and service providers

Access is limited to the salon owner and to authorized technical personnel acting for us, as necessary for their roles. We use service providers for telephony, messaging, AI voice and text assistance, scheduling (Square), hosting, storage, security and recovery. Providers process information only to deliver and support those services for us.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Providers may receive the limited information needed to deliver and support our messaging program. Permission to perform those services is not permission to market their own products to you using your consent records.

We may disclose limited information when a binding legal requirement applies, to respond to a valid legal request, or when necessary to protect people or address abuse. Any such disclosure is limited to the relevant purpose. This is not a general permission to disclose conversation content for marketing.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep call audio, transcripts and summaries that reproduce call content for 180 days from the start of the call. We keep text-message conversations and the related customer-service history for 180 days. At expiry, ordinary access is cut off and the content is removed from our systems. Providers delete on scheduled cycles, so a provider copy may persist briefly after the 180-day period before it is removed.

Information categoryRetention
Call audio, transcripts and summaries180 days from the start of the call.
Text-message conversations and customer-service history180 days.
Attachments you send (such as vaccination records)Kept with the related conversation and removed with it.
Encrypted backupsKept on a rolling 35-day cycle and then deleted, so a copy of content removed from our systems can remain in an encrypted backup for about 35 days after removal.
Technical logs and temporary exportsKept only for the short period needed to operate and secure the service.
Minimal consent and opt-out recordsKept while the program exists and for any applicable required period, separately from audio and full transcripts.

We retain the minimum protected suppression record needed to honor opt-outs while the program exists and for any applicable required period. Deleting conversation content does not cause unwanted contact to resume. A restoration respects the original expiry and newer opt-outs; it does not create new consent or restart a retention period. We do not keep entire recordings merely to prove consent.

9. Security and limited collection

Our controls include restricted access, protected accounts, encrypted storage for private exports and backups, and safeguards for communication and scheduling credentials. No transmission or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure. We collect only what the service requires and keep credentials and private conversation content out of public pages and technical reports.

10. Your choices and requests

You may contact petsdreampetshop@gmail.com to request access to or a copy of information about you, corrections, deletion, or withdrawal of an optional consent. We assess the request under the rules that apply to the information and your circumstances; this notice does not assert that every privacy law applies to every visitor.

We may verify your identity using information proportionate to the request before disclosing or changing private records. We will explain relevant limitations, including necessary consent or suppression records and applicable retention obligations, rather than promise universal deletion. We do not require an identity document by default. Tell us if a number is no longer yours or is shared so that we can avoid disclosing another person’s information.

Stopping texts does not itself cancel an appointment. Ask our team about a booking change through the available contact method. Declining recording does not prevent you from requesting grooming services through the alternatives provided.

11. Changes to this notice

When our practices change, we update this page and its effective date and provide additional notice or seek a new choice when the change requires it. Posting an update does not retroactively create marketing or recording consent. Contact us if you need clarification about the version relevant to your request.
